Who Dat Dshop, is a new daiquiri bar and lounge located in the heart of the college and medical district. Our culture consist of college educated, fraternity sorority, and New Orleans vibes, drinks, music, around state of art hospitality of Louisiana Culture. Our motto is "Let the good time roll" So we are looking for a great team thats looking for creating a fun environment, meeting great people and building something great.

We are looking for an enthusiastic bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes salary and tips.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Plan and present bar menu
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Marketing snowballs
• Creating innovative drinks

Skills

• Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
• Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Computer literacy
• Knowledge of a second language is a plus
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Relevant training certificate
• We're open for newly established bartenders
• Non-experienced bartenders are still welcome to apply
• have some social media skills
• Not afraid to talk to people

Important Factors Before Applying (PLEASE READ)

• Must have reliable transportation. If you live outside of 20 miles from the bar please do not apply.
• Please provide instagram or picture when applying.
• Attire for interview must be all black.
• Certain postitions requires certain skill sets. If you know you dont have any experience in known needed positions please do not a apply for that position.
• We will not allow any drinking on the job or smoking on the job.
• Tardiness is unacceptable.
• If you applying for a position that you have no experience in but still will like to apply for that position training will not be paid for.
• First check is bi-weekly and after that it is weekly
• All staff must help promote the business during work hours.
• All staff must wear and pay for their own uniform. Some uniforms will be provided by management. If you quit before or fired for cause within the first month, provided uniform will be deducted out of final check.
• If you quit or terminated you must return all uniforms with the bar name/logo and key before recieving final check
• If you are getting paid hourly texting and being on your phone is limited with the exception of promoting the business or conducting business for the bar. You will be docked pay if excessive.
• Theft will be prosecuted to the highiest degree and is subject to instant termination.

Pay: $6.00 - $25.00 per hour
