Il Brutto is a neighborhood spot in East Austin serving authentic Italian foodmeaning what you would eat in Italy, presented in exactly the same way. Helmed by Chef Erind Halilaj, previously of Obica Mozzarella Bar in New York, the menu features fresh antipasti, housemade pasta, and pizza baked in the restaurants Neapolitan wood-burning oven. Il Bruttos beverage program highlights an extensive selection of Italian wines from an on-site cellar, as well as local beers, simple, handcrafted cocktails, and an exciting selection of amari and vermouth.
