A full-timer server at one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants is looking for a responsible, hardworking and enthusiastic person to join his team. You will be expected to work efficiently while maintaining great customer service, providing excellent food and drink recommendations and being an essential part of the restaurant's success. This is a great opportunity to build your experience in the food service industry.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customers with friendly service at a fast-paced restaurant.
• Stay informed about the menu, specials, and promotions.
• Provide assistance to customers in a timely manner.
• Check clients' identification before serving alcohol.
• Answer any questions about the menu or specials.
• Know how to operate food-serving equipment.
• Listen to complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Develop a positive, lasting relationship with guests
• Be knowledgeable regarding our concept, food and beverages
• Clean and prepare the dining areas

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in hospitality
• Familiarity with restaurant management software, such as Square and Toast.
• Food and beverage (F&B) knowledge.
• Knowledge of food health and safety regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
• Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety
• Flexible schedule during the week.
• Food Safety and ABC Liquor Certification
• Able to stand/walk for long periods of time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
