The St. Louis Country Club, a private country club, is currently in the need of a few exceptional individuals to join our amazing service team.

Overview:

The St. Louis Country Club is in search of experienced service staff of all levels and beginners with an interest in developing food & beverage knowledge with the desire to learn advanced service skills. We provide training in casual, fine dining, wine & spirits, in addition to teaching an advanced level of service protocol. Candidates must be comfortable in formal and casual dining environments. Great for those new to the industry, looking for supplemental income, industry professionals seeking benefits and professional students majoring in degrees with business acumen who will need to entertain clients. The nature of business at a private country club allows the Club to have the ability to accommodate a flexible schedule. Paid training.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of food and beverage (Preferred, willing to train)

Able to stand on feet for long periods of time

Must be comfortable lifting items up to 30 lbs. (Required)

Previous experience working in hospitality / customer service (Preferred, willing to train)

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Welcoming Members courteously by name and guide them through their dining service.

Maintain "Sense of Urgency" when on and off the floor.

Work as a team to anticipate and go above and beyond while reaching common goals.

St. Louis Country Club is looking for individuals who are interested in full or part-time hours in evening/weekend work, including day shifts with a some evening hours scheduled.

Must have outstanding communication skills.

Candidates must be reliable, capable of working as part of a team, and possess a true enjoyment of hospitality.

Normal working hours are Tuesday through Sunday, including some holidays and occasional Mondays.

Competitive hourly rate, meals, paid time off (for full & part-time staff), and a generous holiday pay policy. NO TIPS. Various other benefits for full-time employee's, including, free Life/AD&D insurance, free LTD insurance, excellent medical, dental, and vision coverage is also available.
