General Responsibilities

• Greet customers, take food and beverage orders, and in some cases expedite food order.
• Correctly receives payment by cash, check, credit cards or gift cards in accordance with company policies.
• Correctly issues receipts, refunds, credits, or change to customers in accordance with company policies.
• Counts money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
• Calculates total payments received during a time period, and reconciles this with total sales.
• Assist customers by providing information and resolving their complaints.
• Maintains clean and orderly checkout area.
• Always come to work with a clean uniform.
• Periodic bathroom checks for cleanliness.
• Prepare red sanitizing buckets and sanitize dining tables.

• Be a team player—support and assist your fellow team members whenever possible.
• Ask management for Chow Now tablet from safe, turn on tablet and be sure tablet is charged.
• Alert kitchen staff of the arrival of a “to go” order placed via phone or Chow now.
• Answering phone and taking phone orders.
• Inputting Chow Now Orders in POS system.
• Interacts with customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Stocks display refrigerators, salad bar, and steam table neatly, accurately and efficiently.
• Cleans tables and chairs, as assigned, by the start of each meal period.
• Cleans equipment, as assigned, thoroughly and in a timely fashion.
• Keeps floor in work or service area clean and free of debris.
• Completes shift work, as assigned, timely and thoroughly in accordance with company standards.
• Stock soda machine, beverage station, paper goods, etc.
• Sweep and mop dining room and bathroom.
• Throw trashes in dining room and bathroom.
