General Summary
Responsible for various IT administrative support duties to include the monitoring of information delivery schedules, executing established routines, and compiling reports on inventory levels, income, debts, and production results. Additional responsibilities will include receipt and triaging of helpdesk related requests, investigation, and response of trouble tickets related to primary business systems. Works under general supervision.
Key Responsibilities
· Interacts with computers, using computers and computer systems to process information, enter data, set up functions, and execute established routines.
· Receive, triage, investigate, and respond to systems related trouble tickets/helpdesk tickets varying in complexity related to primary business systems.
· Examines documents, materials, and production results to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.
· Monitors and reviews information from schedules, materials, events, or the environment to detect problems.
· Communicates with internal personnel, vendors, or clients to coordinate production activities, resolve complaints, eliminate delays, and provide feedback on processing results or breakdowns.
· Research, analyze, and report on operational tasks to assess progress and discuss changes if needed.
· Prepare, analyze, distribute, and post various operational reports.
· Reviews/audits various invoices, accounts, and client specific data.
· Follows instructions and maintains an acceptable level of performance.
· Meets deadlines.
· Responsible for other tasks as assigned.
Knowledge, Skill, & Ability Requirements
· 1-2 years’ experience as a document control clerk, processing assistant, or holding information systems responsibilities
· Knowledge, skill, and ability to operate a PC, VOIP telephone, and the following applications/software
o MS Windows, MS Office, FTP client use, DAKCS, and Ontario System’s Artiva
· CompTIA Strata certification or other IT fundamentals certification is preferred, but not required.
· Demonstrates the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
· Good organizational and oral, written communication skills.
· Responds positively to direction and supervision.
· Interacts successfully with all levels of management.
· Has the ability to type 50+ WPM.
· Knowledge of medical terminology, coding, standard hospital operations including financial services is preferred, but not required.
· Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent
. Must successfully pass a criminal history screening.
