Clifford Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a qualified Service Sales Representative in our DFW market to support the growth of our Service Sales channel and infrastructure. We’re looking for a dynamic and solutions driven candidate who has passion for developing business and accountability for achieving company initiatives and personal success.
As the Service Sales Rep, your primary goal is to develop new business in a specific market footprint and nurture relationships to provide an excellent customer experience. This position is responsible for following up with customers throughout the selling process, assisting customers with documentation, assisting in formulation of marketing plans and providing weekly contact and quote reports as requested.
Applicants must be highly engaged and able to serve as a respected team member. Additionally, you will work with team members in Sales and Operations Leadership to ensure we are creating solutions that benefit both end users and Clifford Power.
Clifford Power Systems, Inc. is a privately held corporation currently supporting 165 employees in 10 offices across five states. This support includes providing standby power solutions for capital equipment purchase, leasing equipment, maintenance and repair of generator power systems and parts purchases.

Essential Job Functions:
Sales/Product Portfolio
- Planned Maintenance (PM) Agreements
- Additional Services (Load Banks, Fuel Services, Remote Monitoring, etc.)
- PMA Retention
Additional Job Duties include but are not limited to:
- Maximize Customer-Facing selling time
- Build customer relationships
- Sales opportunity detection
- Close profitable orders
- Achieve assigned sales quota
- Produce year-over-year sales growth
- Reporting & data entry: Customer Relationship Management (CRM) & Sales Forecasting
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing field
Experience:
- 5-10 years of experience in a sales environment, preferably in the emergency power generation industry
- Basic knowledge of diesel and natural gas engine generators or electrical knowledge is a strong plus.
Required:
- Proven track record of closing sales and obtaining new business
- Strong relationship maintenance
- Excellent customer follow-up
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
