Radius Aerospace– Hot Springs is a leading manufacturer of sheet metal parts and assemblies used in the aviation industry. We utilize a wide range of metal forming techniques and special manufacturing processes, servicing the commercial, military, regional jet, helicopter, and general aviation markets.

Position Summary

Checking and straightening sheet metal aircraft parts by hand to get them within tolerance to drawings/blueprints. You will be using a manual shrinker/stretcher, steel body hammers, rubber hammers, protractors, feeler gauges, blueprints, and shop sketches. This job requires great attention to detail and patience due to the complexity of the parts and tight tolerances.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operator will be responsible for hand routing parts using customer furnished tooling.
• Operator must be able to stand for 10 hours a day and be able to work in a hot and cold environment.
• Report to work on time, follow instructions from supervisor or management, interact well co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures.
• Good regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
• Other various duties as needed or as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Basic computer proficiency and functional knowledge with applications
