1st Shift Monday - Friday

$16.00 per hour

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Pack and ship items securely and effectively to prevent damage.

· Build and wrap pallets for secure shipment with freight carriers.

· Utilize a forklift to move aluminum truss.

· Utilize hand tools and small power tools to remove burrs and sharp edges on parts.

· Lift and assemble aluminum truss that weight a minimum of 70lbs without assistance.

· Assists in loading and unloading trucks.

· Maintains a safe and clean work environment.

· Work in a team setting to accomplish department goals.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must be able to read and communicate in English
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
• ·Ability to lift, bend, push, pull & move materials up to 50 pounds.
• Prepares orders for shipment by grouping in designated area(s)
• Assists in loading and unloading trucks, as needed
• Organizes and sorts stock
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
• Maintains safety regulation and compliance.

Education and Experience:

• Previous experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift, bend, push, pull & move materials up to 70 pounds.
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with the plant.
• Manual dexterity as needed to operate a variety of machinery and equipment.
