Job Purpose:
The Shipping/Receiving personnel will own the day to day functions of Shipping and Receiving inventory.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pulling orders for delivery
- Assisting in inventory control, counts, reorganizations, etc.
- Operation of forklift
- Working with ERP system regarding inventory and order management
- Palletizing, prepping products for shipment
- Assist in load testing as needed
- Ensures accurate documentation is used throughout process. (bills of laden, packing slips, shipping manifests, and photos.)
- Supervises the accurate completion of shipping, packing, crating, and documentation, as per customer specs
- Pulling stock items for sales orders, staging orders for will call, ensuring local delivery and commercial carrier pick up
- Identify and count inbound purchase orders
- Unload/Load truck
- Perform other functions as required
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and physical
- Must be able to meet physical requirements of the position including lifting, carrying, reaching squatting, climbing ladders, etc.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
