Connect Staffing is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a food production company located in Rialto, CA

Schedule: 1st Shift

Days worked will fluctuate on a weekly basis, and you will be notified of your schedule weekly

Requirements of the Shipping & Receiving Clerk:

• Must have 6 months of recent experience as a warehouse shipping/receiving clerk
• Manufacturing setting experience is required
• Computer skills, data entry, emailing, printing labels etc.
• Time Management
• Must have good communication skills
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
• Must be willing to work overtime when needed
• Reliable transportation is required
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

Responsibilities of the Shipping & Receiving Clerk:

• Assist shipping and receiving trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to sales associates for processing.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
• Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• File requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distribute items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area.
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.
• Assist in counting of physical inventory.
• May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.
• Provide requisition forms to order supplies order pickers.
• Prepare parcels for mailing.
• Wear the proper safety equipment when needed.
• Coordinate outbound.
• Email etiquette
