We are a fast-paced multi-spindle screw machine shop. We operate Euroturn, New Britain, and Davenport machines. We are looking for great people in search of an amazing opportunity. We are currently seeking a motivated Shipping & Receiving Technician for our Rochester Hills, Michigan location. The successful candidate will be responsible to support the material handling activities; organizing material to ensure on-time delivery to various internal locations and to customers while working within a formalized team structure. Must be a motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic.

$17 - $20 hourly

• Operate a Hilo to load and unload trucks
• Operate a Hilo to rotate stock for purposes of ensuring proper lot rotation and usage
• Operate overhead cranes
• Lifting, stacking containers, and keeping traceability of production
• Washing parts in the wash system and move bins around with a Hilo
• Boxing and weighing parts for shipments and identifying material
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
• Receive packages and materials
• Planning, organizing, and prioritizing activities to meet material handling requirements and deadlines
• Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance in and around the building
• Keep and verify records on outgoing and incoming shipments
• Ability to Multitask
• Exceptional ability to self-motivate, stay organized and maintain clean work areas
• Excellent attendance and dependability

• Hilo license is preferred, if proficient but not certified, we can administer the certificate training.
• Working environment and physical requirements of this position are those typical of a manufacturing environment and Shipping.
• Very frequent visual effort and concentration.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Regular sitting, standing, moving about, and involves a variety of physical activities are required.
• Excellent general math and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with part washing is helpful.
• Must be able to pass physical & drug test.
