Geotechnical Field Technician (Entry Level) (Willing to train)

Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Starting Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour +
Hours: Monday-Friday 40 hours+/week (Overtime Paid at 1.5X past 40 hours)
Job Type: Full-time (Contract-to-Hire)

Responsibilities:

• Pulling samples of soils, concrete, asphalt, etc. for commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects.
• Logging GPS coordinates of work location
• Operating machinery/drills to gather material samples
• Working on your feet and using your hands for the majority of the day
• Driving around the area from site to site and handling lab duties
• Light data entry

• Paid Training: Typically receive pay raises after completing specific certifications
• Certifications: ACI, WAQTC, LabCat certifications required

Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma, or bachelor's degree
• Must have a clean driving record
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening
