Snow Shovelers and Hand Laborers (shoveling snow, applying de-icer) (Glens Falls and Capital Region, NY)

Are you looking for something to do this Winter? Come join us at North Country Snow and Ice Management and become part of a talented team of snow professionals. We are looking for approximately 50 winter employees for the 2022-23 Winter Season.

What we need: Reliable Hand Laborers to shovel snow, use a snow blower and other small equipment, apply salt and deicing materials; clear sidewalks and parking lots.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid form of photo ID. Driver’s license not required for position.
• Applicants must be able to work on an on-call basis with irregular hours
• Must be flexible and available 24/7, including weekends and holidays. When it snows, you have to work.
• Must be able to perform a variety of manual labor tasks including: shoveling, using snow blower and applying de-icer.
• Must be able to work long hours in extreme conditions.
• Must have reliable transportation to get to work promptly when called for a storm.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must possess warm winter gear including a good pair of waterproof snow boots.

There will be potential for a few select candidates, with experience to be carried over for year round employment in our Landscaping, Construction and Masonry Departments.
