We are looking for an experienced social media strategist to join Vanta's corporate communications team who can creatively elevate Vanta's unique voice and insight across the industry.

We are looking for an experienced social media strategist to join Vanta's corporate communications team. The right candidate is a talented writer who can creatively elevate Vanta's unique voice and insight across the industry. They will help drive growth and engagement across our corporate social media channels and help foster employee advocacy. The person in this role should be a storyteller who is excited to immerse themselves in Vanta's brand, understanding the audiences we serve, and driving meaningful impact and results.
What you'll do as a Social Media Manager at Vanta:
  • Drive fresh, creative thinking that helps engage, connect, and encourage conversation around stories and news that matters to Vanta's audience
  • Develop an organic social media strategy to build awareness and increase engagement across platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube
  • Set objectives and KPIs for and measure performance of social media activities and campaigns, communicating these results to Marketing organization, cross-functional stakeholders, and executive leadership
  • Work cross-functionally to develop creative, on-target social media campaigns
  • Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice and terminology
  • Manage daily social listening, proactive and reactive comms
  • Identify strategic opportunities to elevate Vanta's voice and presence in key social media communities, contributing strategic input and recommendations for elevating executive and marketing content
How to be successful in this role:
  • 5+ years of social media marketing
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Keen eye for detail, including attention to word interpretation
  • Strong project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment
  • Strong understanding of social media analytics tools
  • Proficiency with visual design tools (Figma and Illustrator)
Pay Range: $85,000 - $165,900; If you are offered the position, your offer amount will be based on your experience.

We started Vanta in 2016 as Equifax had lost every American's social security number, Home Depot had leaked its customers' credit card numbers to hackers, and Facebook admitted that it irresponsibly sent user data to third parties who tried to influence the US election. It was clear that security and privacy had become mainstream issues, and that we all increasingly relied on cloud services to store everything from our personal photos to our communications at work.
