The Ford Motor Credit Company team helps put people behind the wheels of great Ford and Lincoln vehicles. By partnering with dealerships, we provide financing, personalized service and professional expertise to five thousand dealers and more than four million customers in over one hundred countries around the world.

As a DevSecOps engineer, you will be working with Google services such as Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, GKE, KMS, BigQuery and others in order to develop shared microservices. These microservices will be used to establish secure standard for accessing Ford GCP resources and exposing Ford data. Additionally, you will work to develop preventative controls using Policy as Code(PAC) and implementing GCP Policies such as service controls. In order to provide security assurance back to the business, you will assist in create reports for security posture assessment and compliance.

You'll have…

• Project experience with Cloud Service patterns such as: Platform as a Service, Infrastructure as a Service, Software as a service.
• 3-5 years experience with layer 7 routing.
• 3-5 years experience with SIEM tools.
• 3-5 years experience with reporting tools or custom reports.
• Project experience with a developer language such as Java, Python, NodeJs.
• 3-5 years Web Server Logic.
• 1-2 years managing request filtering logic.
• 1-2 years of Entitlement Modeling & Identity Access Management.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work

Even better, you may have...

• Financial Sevices or government experience.
• CISSP, GCP Cloud Security Engineer, AWS Security Specialty or other security credentials.
• 3-5 years experience working with a complex global environment.
• 5-7 years experience with Java.
• Project experience as a web administrator or cloud native developer.
• 1-2 years experience with policy as code.
• Experience with Global Scale implementation.

• FMCC is going through a major modernization and transformational process right now that you will be able to play a pivotal role in.
