The SW Project Manager/Scrum Master oversees medium to large complexity/risk/impact projects. Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of project. May communicate and/or coordinate with senior project management, external suppliers/vendors, functional area management, or program manager regarding status of specific projects. May have international project scope.
What you will do:
- Guide multiple software development teams to deliver technology solutions through effective application of the Lean/Agile principles and frameworks including SAFE, Scrum and Kanban methods
- Communicate and coordinate with senior leadership, external suppliers/vendors, functional area leaders and stakeholders regarding status of specific projects.
- Support the teams and stakeholders by providing Jira dashboards and reports while ensuring they are using the tool properly and efficiently.
- Identify roadblocks and recommend resolutions; develop plans to turn any/all project challenges into order for all aspects of the project deliverables.
- Ensure that release deliverables are clearly communicated to the team
- Identify risks, impediments as well as cross-team dependencies and support mitigation activities by working with teams and Product Owners
- Ensure that retrospectives produce actionable tasks; follow through to ensure that recommendations are implemented successfully and in a timely manner
- Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
- Assist with internal communication, improve transparency, and share information
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering field- 5+ years’ experience in project management or comparable experience.
- Fluency with Atlassian Tool Chain (JIRA, Confluence)
- Knowledge and experience with Agile techniques
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated time management skills while delivering multiple objectives.
- Demonstrated influence/communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) with various levels in organization.
Highly Preferred:
- Hands-on engineering experience in product development
- Experience in consumer products
- Knowledge of other project management methodologies
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar
- Experience in Scrum on an Embedded SW / Hardware development project
- Ability to follow Keurig Policies and Procedures as well as our Operating Principles.
- Project management professional certification a plus.
