As a Solution Architect, you will be the trusted partner working shoulder to shoulder with our customers and advising them on how to best achieve performance at scale.

The role requires deep technical expertise, a strong sense of technical evangelism, and a relentless commitment to long term customer outcomes. You will be expected to quickly understand technical architectures, research, build, and deliver proof of concept solutions to pattern and guide and shape the customer journey. You should be a passionate tinkerer, and be able to dive deep, speaking to builder patterns and practices with fluency.

The ability to build repeatable artifacts, and assess deliverables as a force multiplier is a critical skill for the Solution Architect role. You should have a demonstrated ability to think about business challenges and articulate technical solutions to solve those problems. As part of the SA community you will capture and share best practices with your peers, generate internal and external technical content, and participate in evangelist and workshop activities to grow the community.

To be successful in this role, you should:

• Have a strong background in AWS Services, and be able to demonstrate technical excellence when building scalable architectures.
• Be a passionate communicator, advisor, and advocate for the Customer.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of Software Development.
• Be passionate about developing your peers, and participating in hiring.

The base pay range for this position in Colorado is $131,300-177,600/yr and in New York City is $144,500-195,400/yr. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered. • Professional experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
• 3+ years of experience working in a customer-facing role (consultant, solutions engineer, solutions architect, etc.)
• AWS certifications with Solutions Architect – Professional highly desired
• Strong scripting, object-oriented design, or coding skills
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively articulate technical solutions to both large and small audiences
• Demonstrated experience building solutions involving public cloud platforms and on-premises technologies
• Working knowledge of AWS services
• Experience building/operating solutions built on AWS
