Specialist, Health Services Product Management Job at San Francisco Health Plan
In this position you will contribute to the success of maintaining and supporting Health Services’ application systems. As the Specialist you will support the team to maximize efficiencies through technology in the Health Services department by assisting with projects affecting the Care Management, Pharmacy, Clinical Operations and Quality initiatives in Health Services. The Health Services Product Management team values collaboration and teamwork, as the team works closely other areas, from clinical staff to our IT department. Projects can range from technology-enabled solutions, training projects, or projects focusing on the collaborative operations of Health Services programs to improve processes.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Coordinate and support Health Services Product Management-related projects, including but not limited to: schedule and coordinate meetings, document meeting minutes, and remind stakeholders about action items.
- Triage all customer tickets related to system configurations and issues as well as ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
- Research system issues and provide thoughtful analysis and propose steps necessary to fix the issue.
- Effectively collaborate with users and other stakeholders to achieve mutually agreeable deliverables, timeframes, resources and outcomes.
- Manage relationships with relevant stakeholders as needed to ensure successful collaboration.
- Provide overview training of applications and training for new process changes.
- Coordinate small projects following standardized project management methodologies.
- Ensure data are entered accurately and timely for SFHP’s member incentive programs.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in health plan operations, health care clinical quality improvement, direct patient care, or other experience directly related to position duties and knowledge.
- Strong time and task management, customer service, and organization skills across multiple simultaneous projects.
Ability to:
- Work with qualitative and quantitative data.
- Produce accurate and precise work with strong attention to detail.
- Find and fix problems.
- Work very efficiently and thoroughly, fill gaps, prevent overlaps.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Hold self and others accountable to deadlines.
- Strong verbal communication skills for effective work with SFHP staff, management, and executives; and with health care providers and practice staff.
- Strong writing, editing and proofreading skill set.
