Simply Therapy, P.C. is seeking a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of highly skilled and devoted therapists! Full-time positions are available in both our Winston-Salem and Kernersville offices.
Simply Therapy is a small, therapist-owned private practice, offering speech therapy services to children of all ages. We provide family focused, clinic based evaluation and therapy services in our two clinics located in Winston-Salem and Kernersville.
This position opens in late April/May 2023. We have 1 positoin open in our Winston-Salem office and 1 position open in our Kernersville office. A full-time therapist will spend 4 full days in the clinic, with Fridays open for meetings, evaluations, make-up visits, or paperwork.
TOP 5 REASONS YOU SHOULD COME WORK WITH US:
5. Once the SLPs schedule is established, they have the autonomy to make adjustment as needed, offering the ultimate flexibility for your very full life.
4. Continuing education assistance and SIMPLE IRA (with employer match) are offered to both full-time and part-time employees.
3. All sessions are clinic based, so there is exactly NO driving around town between clients, enabling you to make the best use of your very valuable time. Plus, you get to collaborate with other SLPs on a daily basis.
2. Our offices are new, freshly updated, well equipped, and stocked full of materials and testing supplies, so you can jump right in without having to gather your own supplies. Our documentation system is web-based, so you can do your paperwork from virtually anywhere!
1. (...drum roll please...) OUR PEOPLE ARE THE BEST. The end.
We proudly offer unmatched clinical support and professional (and personal) encouragement. We are a team of the best in the business and we work together to lift each other up, share ideas, collaborate on behalf of our clients, and push each other to be our best selves. And I don't just mean our best professional-selves, but our best parent-selves, friend-selves, partner-selves, community member-selves, etc.
The bottom line is this: Our families come first. Our careers come second.
Candidates must have:
- Master's degree from an ASHA accredited program
- NC State License in Speech Language Pathology

- At least 2 years of pediatric experience (strong CF candidates will be considered)
Additional details about the position:

- The caseload is varied and includes mostly young children, with the possibility of a few older children with diagnoses including language delays, articulation/phonological disorders, apraxia of speech, fluency disorders, Autism, Down syndrome, vision/hearing impairments, feeding disorders, CP, etc. Expect some children with AAC needs (high and low tech).
- The therapist can expect 1-2 new evaluations per week, with the large majority of their time spent in therapy sessions.
- We use an electronic medical records program (Clinic Source) that enables you to do your paperwork outside of the office.
- We pay per session (rates are negotiated based on experience/skill set) and there are different rates for therapy, evaluations, and individual consultations/screenings. Training, group screenings and marketing activities are paid per hour.
- The therapist will have access to tons of materials, as well as a variety of standardized assessments.
