Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Full-Time Position
Location: La Porte, IN
School Year: 2023/2024
Blazerworks, in partnership with the La Porte School District, is seeking a talented and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the upcoming 2023/2024 school year. This is a full-time opening in the beautiful city of La Porte, Indiana.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of student progress and reports
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
- Valid Indiana state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
- Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric population is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
