What You'll Be Doing:


  • Experience with Database Administration for MSSQL Server.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems.
  • Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.
  • Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for MSSQL Server.
  • Experience in implementing operational automation using scripts.
  • Knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics.
  • Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory and proper disk configurations.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.

Teradata Database Admins Only:

  • Experience with Database Administration for Teradata Database Systems.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems.
  • Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.
  • Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for Teradata.
  • Experience in implementing operational automation using scripts.
  • Knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics.
  • Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory and proper disk configurations.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.



What We're Looking For:


Education Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Experience Required:

  • 7-10 years Healthcare Experience (3 – 10 years of experience)
  • 3 – 10 years of experience in Database Administration for MSSQL Server
  • Experience with Database Administration for MSSQL Server.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems.
  • Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.
  • Experience in implementing operational automation using scripts.
  • Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory and proper disk configurations.

For Teradata Database Admins Only:

  • Healthcare Experience (3 – 10 years of experience) is a plus
  • Preferred - Active in forums or newsgroups
  • 7 – 10 years of experience as a Teradata DBA (Teradata V13 & Higher)
  • Experience working with Teradata in a VMWare environment
  • Experience with Teradata client tools (TD Admin, SQL Assistant, Viewpoint, Visual Explain, etc.)
  • Experience with Teradata utilities (BTEQ, Arcmain, FastLoad, MultiLoad, FastExport, TPT, TPump)
  • Experience Configuring and managing Teradata Data Labs and Workload Data Manager
  • Experience with advanced SQL coding/tuning
  • Full life cycle experience in Data Warehousing Data Integration, and Data Management
  • Experience with Database Administration for Teradata Database Systems.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems.
  • Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.
  • Experience in implementing operational automation using scripts.
  • Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory and proper disk configurations.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options.
  • Knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics.
