Core Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support to business users of AMI network and metering infrastructure.
  • Utilize analytic platforms to identify and generate work management activities for AMI device maintenance.
  • Analyze field results for analytic development and refinement and decision making.
  • Create AMI Program analytic processes for efficient device management.
  • Develop recommendations for enhancements to AMI analytics platforms (EDAP and Operations Optimizer) to improve operational efficiencies in network and meter management.
  • Clearly articulate technical issues and concepts Company and service vendor personnel.
  • Provide administrative oversight of contractors performing analytic work supporting AMI Operations.
  • Perform AMI network, meter and sensor device exception queue management, troubleshooting and resolution per established processes and procedures.
  • Support work management activities for multiple field organizations working for AMI Operations.
  • Create and analyze analytic reports to drive network equipment and meter maintenance work management.
  • Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3 years' experience or
  • High School Diploma/GED and 5 years' experience

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or Engineering and 3 -5 years' experience

Relevant Work Experience

  • Experience working on projects. Required
  • Demonstrated ability to understand project scope and downstream system impacts. Required
  • Demonstrated experience with training and knowledge transfer to peers and subordinates. Required
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). Required
  • Experience in technical documentation development preferred. Preferred
  • Experience working with users to define, specify, and implement requirements and reports. Preferred
  • Work experience with electric or gas meter processes. Preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with data analysis and data mapping from an operational perspective. Preferred
  • Experience with providing internal or external stakeholders with application support. Preferred

Other Physical Demands

  • Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
  • Must be able and willing to work overtime and travel within the Company service territory as required.
  • Must be flexible with work hours, be on call and respond to emergencies.
