job summary:
Client is in need of a Sr Desktop Support Technician to support 2 locations in Lithia and Powder Springs.
Primary Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:
? Support users on computer issues relating to email, network, printing, etc.
? Regular travel to Distribution center in Powder Springs, GA to support users and
projects.
? As part of the help desk, provide support to user requests over the phone and email using
the ticket system.
? Install and troubleshoot issues with Desktop and Laptop Computers
? Diagnose and resolve most PC hardware and software problems, refer problems requiring
specialized training to higher-level personnel.
? Troubleshoot and resolve issues on Windows 10, Office365
? Support and maintain Laser Printers, Label Printers, Handheld RF Scanners and other
related equipment on the production shop floor and warehouses.
? Work with IT group to resolve issues with Networks, Active Directory, Servers, backup
devices.
? Prepare documentation of systems, IT Assets and services.
? Ensure IT Incidents and Service Requests are handled in a timely manner to meet SLA.
? This role involves interacting with IT users at all levels of the company. Good Customer
Service skills required.
? Continuously strives for improvement in performance of all responsibilities
? Onsite & Regular work hours 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional off hours/weekend work for
planned system maintenance tasks and unplanned system events.

Education and/or Experience:
? Computer Certification, Comptia A+, MCSE, MCITP, Assoc. Degree
? 5 years related experience in a Desktop Support role
? ITIL or ITSM training or experience in a help desk environment.
Other Skills and Abilities:
? Customer Service Skills - Ability to take care of the customers' needs while following
company procedures.
? Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and projects
? Problem Solving - Ability to find a solution or to deal proactively with computer system
issues.
