The Sr. Manager of Digital Strategy is a key member of a new organization, Digital Strategy & Enablement, which was recently formed to accelerate the digital transformation for the SEA Mobile Division. This role will have a high degree of influence and visibility with the senior leadership and be a key driver of the organization’s digital strategy. The individual hired for this role will need to be a strong leader with high integrity, able to forge partnerships with leaders across the organization, and ability to remain focused and resolute in a complex, fast-paced organization.
Role and Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include:
  • Drive content and preparation for the annual, quarterly, and ad hoc digital strategic planning efforts for the entire Mobile organization to define strategies, key initiatives, enablers, and investments required to achieve long and mid-term digital growth targets.
  • Create meeting content, lead sub-teams, and drive key workstreams as part of a cross-functional task-force team focused on accelerating online sales and market share capture, setting the overall direction, plan and priorities for the team.
  • Drive key digital projects and analyses including assessing the opportunity, defining and evaluating options, and presenting thorough and well-reasoned recommendations to leadership.
  • Work closely with the Digital Planning and CX Strategy team members to report insights and opportunities to drive digital sales within standard and ad hoc reporting.
  • Prepare and present content and analyses for recurring and ad hoc leadership meetings that drives actionable decision making and recommendations for the organization.
  • Build strong working partnerships across digital focused teams, including direct-to-consumer, sales, marketing, product management, consumer insights, and big data teams.
  • Develop POVs and recommendations for the organization around new emerging digital capabilities / platforms being deployed for direct and indirect competitors.
  • Serve as a thought-leader and go-to expert on all things digital by the organization.
Skills and Qualifications
Background & Competencies Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 12+ years of experience; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Several years of experience in consulting, internal strategy, or similar function, with heavy focus on digital commerce and platforms.
  • Demonstrated success in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment with ability to respond to changing priorities without loss in performance or productivity.
  • Ability to take complex ideas and distill down to a clear and easy-to-understand summary with the relevant information to drive decision-making.
  • Microsoft Standard Office Suite and advanced expertise in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Demonstrated program management ability, proven experience planning and executing large scale projects and initiatives.

  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all assigned levels within and outside the company.
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects.
  • Review detailed product development, marketing documents and media materials as needed.
  • Demonstrated competency in both oral and written communication modes for both internal and external personnel at various levels.
  • Work independently and in a team environment in order to achieve customer business objectives, personal and team goals and complete assignments within established time frames and specifications.
  • The ability to develop tasks and work assignments, based on sometime vaguely defined objectives.
  • Physical/Mental Demands and Working Conditions:
  • The position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:
  • Work is generally performed in an office environment.
  • Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal 50% of work time, including prolonged periods of time.
  • The movement and transportation of equipment, most of the time under 25 pounds.
  • Performs work under time schedules and stresses which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive job stress, fatigue, unpaid over-time, intellectual challenge, constant technical data feedback, language barriers, and business management stress.
  • Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids representative and commonly associated with PCs, printers, and office work areas.
  • Frequently works additional hours beyond normal schedule.
  • Under very little direct supervision with a high level of responsibility to apply general policies and guidelines where decisions are seldom monitored and consequences of decisions adversely affect operating results and management decisions. Complete access to confidential company data where disclosure may jeopardize the company’s competitive position.
