Soliel is currently seeking multiple Senior Network Infrastructure Engineers to support our DoD customer. The objective of the Network Infrastructure Engineer task area is to be responsible for designing, deploying, and securing the client’s site network infrastructure and environment. The engineer will survey, design, and implement the final network solutions to support on-premise and cloud environments. Ensure compliance with all national codes and standard requirements relating to ISP and OSP structured cabling systems, and relevant internal and customer policies, procedures, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designs, engineers, integrates, implements, tests, deploys, maintains, reviews and administers the infrastructure, hardware and software that are required to effectively manage the security and risk posture of the network and resources in alignment with security strategy
• Develops system concepts and applies the network systems engineering lifecycle to translate strategic objectives, technology and environmental conditions into engineering outcomes and solutions
• Provides site support and supervision for the installation and deployment of network infrastructure
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain network cable, hardware infrastructure, and associated environmental controls
• Works on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions.
• Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments
• Maintains accountability for site inventory, hardware, tools, and supplies
• Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision; mentors or supervises employees in technical competencies
• Some OCONUS travel may be required

Required Skills:

• Interim Top Secret clearance
• 8+ years of relevant IT network engineering and design experience for large enterprises or government clients
• Bachelor degree in IT, Systems Engineering, or other technical degree preferred. Years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
• IAT II DoD 8570 certification
• Experience with multiple vendors networking solutions, including Cisco, HP/Aruba, Palo Alto, Arista or Juniper
• Demonstrated understanding of network infrastructure, such as Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs)
• Ability to lift 30lbs
• Ability to plan and lead major technology assignments

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Versa SD-WAN
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Ability to function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments
• Ability to work well within a team-oriented setting
• Ability to travel up to 40%
