Role Summary
The Sr. Project Manager will lead department-wide and cross functional projects and initiatives to implement Legal, Compliance and Audit (LCA) and business unit management objectives. This individual will assist in building out department project management program, including more structured and formalized processes for project intake, prioritization, status reporting, and closeout sessions/value mapping and will develop department data strategy including data mapping, ownership/roles and responsibilities, controls, and key processes (retention etc.) This role will utilize key data points to provide management with departmental reporting to drive business decisions and monitor risk.
Responsibilities:
  • Interprets department and regulatory initiatives into project scope, workstreams, and deliverables.
  • Utilizes process development skills to design and implement a more effective project management intake and prioritization process.
  • Implements project management design principles and tools to standardize project management processes and deliverables and increase communication with stakeholders and department.
  • Works closely with business unit leaders to determine needed improvements through review and analysis of reported issues and process inefficiencies.
  • Maintains relationships with senior business leaders to report trends and needs; may provide forward-looking and strategic insight on business support issues to drive future growth. Provides high-level support for various committees, governance meetings, and other senior presentations and meetings, including presentation development, logistics, facilitation, and other meeting-related needs.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert in technical aspects of business support. Resolves the most complex issues or inquiries from senior-level or key individuals as needed.
  • Understands department data footprint and develops and improves management reporting to aid in team management and department decision making.
Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience and 3+ years of stakeholder management experience
Preferred:
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Able to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
  • Able to identify solutions to complex Legal requirements and interpret implications of regulatory initiatives.
  • Effective communication and relationship management skills.
  • Able to clearly articulate ownership, next steps, and timelines.
  • Able to provide clear, concise, executive level summaries.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to independently manage stakeholders and working groups to gain buy-in, consensus, and meet deadlines for deliverables.
  • PMP certification
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week.

FINRA licenses are not requires and will not be supported for this role.
