Staff Accountant/Bookkeeper Job at Stubbs Dental Management LLC
Job description
We're looking for an experienced staff accountant who will enjoy working with our dental practice portfolio, with offices in the Davis county and Salt Lake area.
You'll manage all bookkeeping duties including billing, invoicing, payments, and reconciling all accounts. Experience working with Open Dental or any dental/medical software is a plus. You will also develop and maintain a good working relationship with our vendors and team members.
- Banking – you will prepare ACH and Bill Payment checks for approval and bank reconciliations (daily) .
- A/P - you will run reports regularly and be responsible for ensuring that we follow up on outstanding A/P in a timely fashion.
- Financial Statements - you will run financial statements to compare and match with your billing on a monthly basis.
- Cross training - this position cross trains in payroll, Human Resources duties and general operations of the company.
Experience - the right person will need to be experienced with QuickBooks Online and proficient with Microsoft Office products; especially Excel. You will need to be detail oriented in order to ensure your work is accurate. You will work closely with our controller, who will train on some specifics of the company, but a baseline understanding of accounting principles is expected.
Work schedule - some flexibility with hours and schedule, but it is expected to be roughly a 40 hour a week position. We offer a remote work schedule, but will request employee attendance in office at least 1-2 days a week.
