Staff RN Schaffer Extended Care -Rehab Unit Job at Montefiore of New Rochelle
Join our Nursing staff at Schaffer Extended Care Center and make a difference. The center is part of the Montefiore Health System, a premier academic health system serving more than 3 million people living in the New York City and Hudson Valley Regions. We have fantastic opportunity for a full time RN for our Rehab Unit.
Job Duties include:
- Provides for safety in the coordination and delivery of care.
- Consistently communicates with patients by listening attentively and providing feedback to ensure that all needs are met in a timely manner.
- Keeps patients pain well controlled.
- Assess and reassesses patients' status, initiating and resolving patient goals.
- Treating patients accurately and safely according to unit specific parameters and best practices.
- Participates in patient flow initiatives by facilitating transfers and discharges in a timely manner.
Education and Requirements:
- New York State Nursing License.
- BLS
- Associate's degree required.
- BSN degree preferred.
- Infection control training certification in specialty preferred
