State TESS/LEADS Specialist Job at Southwest AR ESC

This position is responsible for the development of effective educators and administrators in Arkansas. The specialist will work to ensure alignment of leader professional learning across the state. The Specialist coordinates and/or leads Teacher Excellence and Support System (TESS) and Leader Excellence and Development System (LEADS) rubric development, training, virtual content development, and is responsible for corresponding platforms and professional learning. The specialist will coordinate with other Division units and school districts to provide streamlined technical support of the Educator Effectiveness System platform.
This position will be housed as a non-state employee onsite at the Arkansas Department of Educations Division of Elementary and Secondary Education in Little Rock. Some travel and/or virtual professional development state-wide required. Benefits, personnel policies and work schedule will follow the Southwest Arkansas Education Cooperative guidelines. Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
