STORAGExperts is looking to hire a motivated, full time Self Storage Property Manage. The qualified candidate would be an energetic, outgoing, detail oriented, self-starter with excellent sales, marketing, and customer service skills. Being a team player and working well with others is also an essential skill to be successful in this role. Title: Self Storage Property Manager

Job Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $15 to $18 per hour based on self-storage experience

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the property i.e. making payments and completing daily bank deposits
• Guide new customers through the rental processes and agreements
• Responsible for improving sales objectives with potential customers through renting units, renter’s insurance, and the retail sales for packing supplies
• Handle cash and balance receipts, pursue collections, post payments and process daily bank deposits with honesty
• Work alongside the STORAGExperts Marketing Manager and explore creative, result driven advertising promotions for the property
• Provide excellent customer service, resolving customer problems and handling all telephone and walk in inquires
• Take pride and ownership in the overall appearance of the property by doing a daily visual inspection and day-to-day maintenance such as sweeping, blowing the property, wiping down windows, etc.
• Effectively and positively communicate and promote teamwork amongst employees while acting as the liaison between the property and corporate
• Dispatch, receive, and maintain U-Haul Truck Rentals

Qualifications, Skills, and Education

Education

• High school diploma or GED equivalent (Required)

Experience and Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Power Point
• Superior people and organizational skills
• Self-Storage software experience i.e.: Sitelink is a plus
• Customer service, general office skills, retail sales, or marketing experience background is required
• Weekend availability is required
• Possess a strong work ethic to succeed in a customer service-oriented environment

Work Environment

• Clean, professional, and friendly work environment in an office like setting.
• Frequent outdoor exposure working in outdoor weather conditions.
• Time periods where high traffic may occur as well down time where busy work can be accomplished.

Physical Demands

• Stationary Position: Frequently remains stationary up to 50% of the time and sitting up to 2 hours.
• Move/Traverse: Frequently bend, stand, stoop and/or walk.
• Carry Weight: Infrequently carry weight and/or lift objects (light to heavy) weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Hearing and Speech: Frequently communicates with the ability to hear and talk on a regular basis with clients who have inquiries about their storage accounts, billing invoice or other related account matters; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
• Sight: Frequent use of sight to detect images on computer, office documents, facility objects near and far.
• Climb: Occasionally ascends/descends a flight of stairs to service the lights and/or reach overhead.

License

• Must have your own transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance to perform this job.
