Job Context

Store Keyholders are the regular openers and closers of their location, who act as the Manager-on-Duty in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring the store consistently achieves sales goals and executes all operational functions. This position leads by example and reinforces our customer service standards with the team, representing House of Vanity Boutique’s core values and selling culture to create an outstanding store experience.

A Key Holder Associate must also process payments by totaling purchases; processing cash and store or other credit cards. Must also be able to deal with customer refunds courteously and professionally. Maintains a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm reflecting the store's commitment to our customer. Develops product knowledge in order to communicate it to the customer. Stays current with promotional events and sales.

Responsibilities:

  • In the absence of the Store Manager, or as assigned, operate as the Manager-on-Duty
  • Initiative to ensure all operational functions are being completed accurately and timely; delegate, direct and prioritize tasks, as needed
  • When the Store Manager is not present, communicate as needed with the store’s Manager
  • Loss Prevention by being attentive to customers
  • Accountable to opening/closing the store on-time
  • Ensure visual, housekeeping and safety standards are upheld throughout the entire store

Qualifications:

  • Passion for fashion, trends and style
  • Demonstrate strong leadership qualities; approachable, engaging with proven conflict resolution skills
  • Operates well in a fast-paced environment; adapts well to changes in traffic patterns, environments, tasks, etc.; proven time management and organizational skills
  • Positive attitude and written communication skills; is able to adapt style, as needed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and email
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Confident and mnd approach to work; remains motivated and productive during downtime
  • Excellent verbal communication

  • High School Diploma required; some college coursework preferred
