Summary of Position:

The Store Retail Associate is responsible for restocking items within the liquor store, keeping the store organized and clean, and running the cash register. They are part of a team environment geared toward exceeding customer expectations within the store.

Essential Functions:

· Follow proper cash handling procedures and giving correct change

· Receive and stock all incoming deliveries to the liquor store

· Responsible for keeping the store clean and organized. Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedule. Pick up trash, sweep, dust, and mop regularly.

· Always provide the highest quality of service to the guest while anticipating and exceeding customer expectations.

· Encourage customers to join the Loyalty Program

· Answer questions about products and upsell customers

· Answer the telephone answering all questions from the customer

· Must communicate properly and effectively with the customer, associates, and managers.

· Attend work on time as scheduled

· Practice safety standards and keep the property safe for guests and fellow associates.

· Report unsafe conditions and suspicious activity to Store Manager or proper chain of command

· Lift, carry, or otherwise move 25lbs regularly or 40lbs occasionally

· Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, use hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, talk, and hear

· Must follow uniform guidelines

· Follow proper key control procedures

· Able to work independently and by themselves on a shift

· Adhere to all work rules, procedures, and policies established by the company.

· Must stock coolers and shelves daily/nightly before end of shift per store requirements
