Compensation: $25+ per hour depending on experience and qualifications. Daily per diem of $55+/day for travel days (Lodging expenses covered).

Our stormwater crews perform routine inspections and maintenance to existing stormwater assets on client properties, so they are environmentally compliant. As a Foreman, you are the key to our success. In this role, you will lead, direct, and perform routine maintenance on client properties.

Your Responsibilities as a Stormwater Foreman:

• Plan, direct, and perform technical and/or field work related to construction, maintenance, and repair of stormwater infrastructure. Repairs to retention ponds, detention basins, drainage ditches, stormwater grates and other assets.
• Lead a crew of 2-4 crew members.
• Lead, communicate and enforce all safety regulations.
• Perform grading, weed-trimming, debris removal, ground maintenance and cleanup, light construction, and maintenance repairs for properties as directed.
• Operate skid steers, mini-excavators, and light construction equipment.
• Ability to travel throughout the division (NC, SC, GA, TN) approximately 50% with occasional travel throughout the Southeast (5-10%)
• Responsible for preparing reports and documenting work in the field using Apex proprietary systems.

• Bachelor's degree, GED or High School diploma preferred.
• Confined space entry certification a plus.
• Able to perform manual labor.
• Experience with planning and scheduling, safety management, and staff supervision.
• Stable employment history and favorable employment references.
• Track record of excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and reliable transportation. Company vehicle available for site work.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screenings.
• Must be able to physically perform the basic functions of bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, walking, standing, sitting, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, and hearing. Must be able to perform work exerting up to up to 60 pounds of force; and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must possess visual acuity and hand-eye coordination to operate machines and tools such as mowers and weed whackers to perform tasks.
• Able to work in confined spaces and under a variety of weather conditions.
