Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Student Engagement Assistant. - Boca Raton, FL
Summary of Responsibilities include:
- Greet visitors at the Marlene and Harold Forkus Alumni Center.
- Responds to phone calls, voicemails and answers email correspondence.
- Orders supplies, equipment maintenance, and submits Facility Work Orders regarding building general maintenance.
- Process orders for name badges, assistance with incoming and outgoing mail, updating Alumni Event calendar, and maintaining an orderly office area.
- Assists with the Senior Class Gift cords for pick-up.
- Support Alumni events (Tailgates, Hall of Fame, Talon, Majestic Owls etc.)
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Degree-seeking undergraduate student with a minimum of six credit hours (or twelve if international) and a 2.5 GPA.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential to success in this position.
Must also have excellent customer service, organizational and time management skills.
Salary:
$12.00 per hour.

Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. with additional hours as needed. Maximum hours per week is 20 hours.
