Job Summary
This position is located at Wood Street in Phoenix.

This position provides comprehensive student support, specializing in enrollment services, in the Maricopa Contact Center. This position works collaboratively with a team to provide remote customer service and communications for a diverse population of students and campus admission, records and registration representatives. This position operates with the highest level of customer service via phone, email, chat, text, and other communication modes.
This position will be trained and expected to provide one-stop enrollment student support (including admissions, registration, financial aid, placement, student billing, recruitment, and other enrollment processes) via inbound and outbound phone calls for all ten Maricopa Community Colleges and the District Office. The position utilizes strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills and leverages multiple technology systems to efficiently help students navigate all aspects of the enrollment and financial aid processes. The position reports to the Student Services Manager overseeing the enrollment services core team in the Maricopa Contact Center.
This position works at the Wood Street location. This may be a work from home position on a part-time or full-time basis.
Essential Functions
60% - Provides comprehensive student support, specializing in enrollment services but also including admissions, registration, financial aid, placement, student billing, recruitment and other enrollment processes, via phone, email, chat, text, and other modes to prospective and current students.
20% - Collects, inputs, modifies, and verifies student information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM),Student Information System (SIS), and other systems.
10% - Assists with training, quality assurance, vendor management, and/or other projects pertinent to the daily operations of the Maricopa Contact Center.
10% - Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in any field, and one (1) year of experience assisting with educational program development and coordination, student advisement, financial aid, or related student development programs, or working in a call center on inbound and outbound call campaigns.
OR
High school diploma or GED and Three (3) years of experience assisting with educational program development and coordination, student advisement, financial aid, or related student development programs, or working in a call center on inbound and outbound call campaigns.
Desired Qualifications

A. One (1) or more years of experience working in a higher education environment with a role in Enrollment Services (admissions, records, registration, advisement, cashier, financial aid, outreach, or recruitment).
B. One (1) or more years of experience working with admissions, records and registration
C. One (1) or more years working in a customer service role over the phone.
D. Experience using a Student Information System (Peoplesoft, Banner, etc.)
E. Experience using a Customer Relationship Management Tool (CRM, Salesforce, etc)
F. Bilingual (Spanish-English)
Special Working Conditions
Hours of operation 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, varied schedules within these hours.
May be required to sit for a long period of time; viewing a computer monitor
May be required to lift or carry up to 25 lbs
May be required to work evenings and weekends
Must be in good standing with the Department of Education as it relates to Federal Financial Aid.
May be required to work on site or at home. Technology (computer, monitors, mouse, keyboard, etc.) will be provided for work from home, but the candidate must have reliable internet. Other workspace requirements (desks, chairs, etc.) are not provided by the Maricopa Community Colleges. The candidate must have a private remote workspace.
