Subcontracts Administrator II Job at Amentum
Amentum is a leading provider of integrated global mission services to the U.S. Government and its allied partners. For over fifty years, Amentum has provided training, logistics, operations, and maintenance services to support complex missions for customers around the world. Amentum is currently seeking an entry to mid-level Subcontracts Administrator (SCA II) to support our USAID Customer. This position will be remote and can work from anywhere within the United States.
Responsibilities:

Under very general supervision, responsible for preparation and administration of subcontracts, task orders and subsequent amendments consistent with client requirements, government regulations and procurement policies/procedures.

Participates in teaming arrangements and strategic marketing alliances between company and outside sources.

Reviews client solicitations and provides recommendations regarding outsourcing requirements to business management proposal team.

Tasks include the negotiation of terms and conditions, analyses of price and creation of the subcontract document; monitoring subcontractor's performance, managing deliverables and payment of invoices.

Keeps fully informed on all subcontract standards, plans and policies. Prepares and supports subcontract negotiations.

Maintains contact with managers regarding the performance of subcontract negotiation, preparation and monitoring.

Prepares and disseminates information regarding subcontract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation and termination.

May be assigned higher value tasks with oversight from more senior level staff.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in related discipline

Minimum 2 or more years of directly related experience in a U.S. Government contracting environment; preferably but not limited to Department of State, Department of Defense and USAID

A combination of education and experience may be considered to satisfy the above qualifications.

Requires some basic knowledge and experience and the ability to perform job requirements; preferred to have some business training and knowledge of business principles in procurement, contract law, and accounting.

Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong dedication to internal and external customer service.

Must have the ability to perform in high-pressure situations and at times in relatively austere environments.

Must be able to organize and prioritize multiple projects of competing priority and varying scope

Must have the ability to work within very strict timelines while maintaining the integrity of the procurement activity

Detail oriented and organized. Able to read, understand and develop subcontracts, task orders and other documents and ensure accuracy.
