We are looking for creative, dependable, and energetic instructors from all backgrounds to teach pottery classes and camps where students are introduced to a range of pottery and art concepts to engage their creativity. This is a great opportunity for college students or teachers to teach during the summer, gaining valuable experience and skills.

You will be a great fit for this if you:

• Are punctual, dependable, and engaging
• Are available to work full-time (8:30 AM-4:30 PM) during the summer
• Have the desire and temperament to work with children (ages 5-11).

Job Duties:

• Maintain a safe and orderly environment with large groups of young children in a highly active setting
• Understand the curriculum and concepts to be able to provide value to participants
• Communicate with parents in a knowledgeable and respectful manner to address questions or concerns
• Supervise parent pickup
• Complete all job-related training in a timely manner
• Adhere to all Mudskippers and facility safety procedures and procedures for supervision and release of children
• Promptly responds to communications from management and regularly communicate with management regarding questions, concerns, and updates

Requirements:

• Be over the age of 18 and a high school graduate
• Must be able to commute and have a reliable method of transportation
• Have a demonstrated ability to inspire, engage, and teach kids
• Be physically able to perform classroom demonstrations and activities effectively and safely
• Consent to and pass a criminal background check for working with children

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
