Parker-Anderson Enrichment is a private enrichment company offering fun and educational summer camps in a variety of subjects. We are currently looking for bright, energetic people to assist with summer enrichment programs in Irvine, Newport, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Beach, and/or Mission Viejo schools or city sites. We want teachers, artists, coaches, college students, and the like who love what they do, are organized, can help with fun, exciting, educational lessons for preschool and elementary school students, and will work to inspire them! Materials and curriculum are provided for each class.

This is an excellent temporary summer option for those looking to make the most of the summer with seasonal work that pays well and helps sharpen your skills!

We have summer programs in many different disciplines (science, robotics, cooking, technology, art, etc.) so an all-around great, energetic person is required. We are currently looking for assistant instructors to start for upcoming summer programs starting in June. Some programs run through July and some continue through August. We love to find those who are interested in learning to assist with multiple programs and are open to new experiences.

Benefits:

Mileage reimbursement available for miles driven over 10 miles each way from base location.

Drive time and additional hour work compensation available.

Reimbursement for required LiveScan and TB test

Requirements:

· Have experience working with children in schools, daycares, or summer camps

· Willing to travel to different schools with reliable transportation

· Comfortable assisting with large groups of students - experience with classroom management a plus

· Able to follow Covid protocols including masking and social distancing when required while in the classroom - Covid vaccination required at some sites

· Responsible for monitoring students during pick up, drop off before and after camps

· Detail oriented - able to keep classroom locations in good condition

· Have an engaging, exciting, and fun personality

· Be punctual and organized

· Can commit to the entire summer camp session. Full day availability is preferred.

Complete a TB test and LiveScan before starting the classes - expenses are reimbursed by company

This is a seasonal job. Do not apply if looking for full year work that is full-time. Compensation: $18 per hour as assistant instructor.
