Summer Teller Job at Rhinebeck Bank
The Rhinebeck Bank Teller is the face of the bank, processing daily customer transactions including but not limited to withdrawals, deposits, and cashing checks. The Teller is responsible for the delivery of superior quality service while adhering to corporate, regulatory and audit guidelines while proactively participating in the sales referral process. The most important job as the face of Rhinebeck Bank is to build a lasting relationship that helps us match our clients with the solutions they need to help them reach their financial goals. This position pays $17/hour.
Summer Schedule: 20-40 hours/week
Branch Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Preferably to start in May and work through June, July & August, returning to work during holidays.
Duties Include: Processing deposits and withdrawals to customer accounts, processing loan and mortgage payments, selling and redeeming savings bonds and traveler’s checks, proving teller drawers, assisting in Branch proof, and maintaining and settling ATMs. In addition, the responsibilities of this position include answering customers' questions about their accounts in a professional and customer service oriented manner, directing customers to appropriate bank personnel, assisting in on-the-job training of new coworkers as necessary, and explaining other bank products and services to customers to solicit new business whenever possible.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- High school diploma or equivalent certificate required.
- Excellent communication and customer services skills.
- Cash handling experience.
- Detail oriented.
- Work well in a team environment.
