Golden Paws Pet Resort & Spa is a full service pet resort offering dog and cat lodging, doggie daycare, grooming & spa and training services. We are searching for an experienced Supervisor, able to lead the Lodging Department team.

This position oversees the lodging staff as they deliver care to the pets staying at the resort. If you’re organized, dedicated, detail-oriented and good at managing staff, a position here might be right for you.

Some key responsibilities include:

• Ensure staff follows all department processes and procedures correctly and consistently.
• Ensure staff maintains a record of the care provided to each pet including food consumption, elimination breaks, playtimes and delivery of upgraded services purchased by owners.
• Oversee meal preparation and feeding pets according to owners’ instructions and ensure proper clean up procedures are followed after meals.
• Monitor and administer medications to pets per the owner and veterinarian instructions.
• Ensure the lodging area, including pet suites and laundry, are cleaned daily according to our cleaning procedures.
• Provide top quality customer service to clients by answering their questions and discussing pet care instructions.
• Work directly with and assist the Lodging Manager in day-to-day operations

Skills and Background include:

• At least 2 years of experience managing staff in a leadership/supervisory role.
• Caring and personable with ability to work well with people and animals.
• Solid understanding of general animal care, feeding and hygiene requirements.
• Knowledge of the medications and vaccinations to be given to the animals.
• Must be available to work full time (40 hours), including some weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work 8 hour shifts and lift 30 lbs.
