Pasta Vita is hiring a talented Retail Supervisor to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily operation of the retail store, supervising the daily activities of the Retail Associates.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction for employees, supervising daily activities, providing performance feedback both formally and informally, interpreting and enforcing policies and procedures and communicating effectively.
• Ensures the guest experience meets all established standards and results in routine visits; ensures that customers are greeted, served, and responded to in a timely manner.
• Ensures that all products are displayed and presented in a professional presentation, including monitoring food on shelves to ensure product quality and freshness.
• Assists with controls cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures for opening and closing the store each day.
• Fills in where needed to ensure customer service standards are achieved and the operation is efficient.
• Assists preparing required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
• Assists with scheduling labor, ensuring that all positions are staffed as needed while meeting labor cost objectives.
• Adheres to Pasta Vita’s policies regarding staff, and administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and regulations.
• Ensures that the property is kept clean and well maintained at all times.
• Ensures that all equipment is kept clean and in working condition through inspection and preventive maintenance care
• Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by establishing, following and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures
• Maintains confidentiality of proprietary information
• Represents Mohegan/PV, LLC in a professional and courteous manner at all times

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) years’ experience in varied supervisory or management positions in a Customer Service or Retail Sales environment
• Experience opening and closing retail establishments
