This position is responsible for the planning and purchasing of designated brands to ensure optimal inventory levels for our warehouses. The individual will work closely with our suppliers and cross-functional partners including Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Demand Planning to arrive at consensus forecasts and develop purchase plans. The planner will help identify, quantify, and communicate forecast changes, risks, and opportunities with suppliers and support WFF’s inventory planning process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• High level of collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and Demand Planning during the S&OP process to arrive at consensus forecasts.
• Create Purchase Orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure they will be fulfilled on time.
• Lead warehouse collaboration to ensure product is properly inbounded, rotated and shipped.
• Review and maintain inventory with the goal of ensuring an in-stock position with minimal spoils and maximum turns.
• Liaise with Logistics team and supplier to ensure timely shipment and delivery of all Purchase Orders.
• Manage aged inventory to proactively report potential risk to sales and management.
• Participate in assigned Task Force teams as assigned by management.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Background in supply chain, specifically procurement, forecasting or inventory planning.
• Strong analytical abilities, meticulous and extreme accuracy required.
• Strong knowledge of demand planning process or inventory management process within Consumer-Packaged Goods Industry.
• Experience using Demantra preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication, presentation and Team building skills.
• Extensive spreadsheet analysis and strong mathematical abilities.
• 5+ years or more of related experience.

4-year college degree (Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field) is preferred.
