As a Logistics Specialist, you’ll be joining an elite team of subject matter experts supporting Military Sealift Command’s onsite Supply Chain Management Support services for MSC ships undergoing overhaul and new ships undergoing construction.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Perform logistics management activities for MSC for ships undergoing overhaul around the world.

  • Afloat supply financial and inventory management.

  • Material identification and sourcing material from commercial and federal sources.

  • Material order submission, tracking, and expediting using MILSTRIP and SPS/contracting requisition transactions.

  • Reviewing, interpreting, and auditing acquisition documentation, specifications, technical manuals, vendor supplies data, vendor purchase orders, shipboard feedback, and other available technical information.

  • Process Inter- Agency Funding documents, NAVCOMPT 2276A and MIPRs.

  • Conducting ashore inventories. Performing causative research for inventory gains or losses.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Secret clearance

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 4 years of experience executing ship acquisition and fleet sustainment support services utilizing systems such as OneTouch, Fedmall, R-Supply, Navy ERP.

  • Highly proficient in MS Office products, particularly Excel
