Supply Chain Manager (WT, Finished Products and Manufacturing)
Job Summary: The Window treatment Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the overall management and optimization of the supply chain for WT and finished products and manufacturing operations. This includes overseeing the sourcing, procurement, and delivery of raw materials and finished goods, as well as managing vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards. The Supply Chain Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders such as operations, design and sales, procurement, sourcing finance, and external vendors to drive strategic initiatives, optimize costs, and improve efficiency across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the sourcing, procurement, and delivery of raw materials and finished goods, while minimizing risk and maximizing value.
- Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and performance evaluation, to ensure high-quality products and services are delivered on time and at competitive prices.
- Lead vendor governance, oversight, and performance strategy, including the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and reports.
- Develop and implement vendor scorecards and other performance measurements.
- Establish vendor assessment standards and provide detailed documentation on vendor capabilities, performance relative to the standards and specific SLA.
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to clarify business requirements, prioritize business requests, and review the status of work being performed by vendors.
- Develop and maintain productive and long-standing relationships with vendors to ensure that the company has sufficient coverage within the geographic footprint of its clients/customers.
- Conduct research on available vendors to determine which vendors offer the best pricing and product quality and implement vendor selection programs on established criteria to ensure that the best vendors are secured.
- Recommend procedure changes to improve productivity and cost savings.
- Provide training to integrate vendors into the company's operating system vendor portal.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive database for all services offered and for all product types, to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including those related to textiles and manufacturing.
- Ensure open lines of communication with vendors for feedback and performance assessment and ensure that positive relationships are maintained.
- This role will have companywide impact and influence as suppliers play a meaningful role in company overall success; builds collaborative partnership and work with key vendors to ensure quality, performance, collaboration, and cost containment through internal and external
- Initiate conference calls for process discussions, transactional issues, service complaints, and growth opportunities.
- Looks for innovation on Supply chain capabilities and system automation and enhancement.
- The role requires travel as needed to meet with suppliers to build relationships or networking, or to review vendors at their locations and perform facilities evaluations.
- Act as Workstream lead for WT SCM on WT and Finished products as well as go-to person to interact with Director of Operations in any process and system enhancement/
- Frequently required to stand or walk for long periods of time, reach and /or bend. Frequently required to sit in front of computer system for extended periods of time. Frequently required to see products, review quality and discuss capabilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7+ years of experience as Manager in the Hospitality industry
- 10+ years as a people manager within textiles, hospitality or project management fields
- Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer skills required: (Microsoft Office; Inventory Software; CRM Software – i.e. Salesforce)
- Other skills strongly preferred: Background in textiles, fabricated products, and sourcing.
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred
