Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Experienced or Senior Supply Chain Operations Field Representatives (Level 3 or Level 4) to join our 2nd Shift Vendor Assist Team in Renton or Seattle, Washington!

In this role you will be working directly with Manufacturing/Operations and Vendors and be the first point of contact when an airplane requires help resolving issues related to BFE items. The selected candidate would be expected to ensure that vendors are meeting scheduled deliveries, to all our business units.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Monitor emergent offload/overload suppliers including outside processors, machine shop and sheet metal shop to ensure schedule compliance and product conformity.

  • Identify, establish and maintain priorities for deliveries of products, services and data that support necessary supplier contractual corrective actions and resolution of issues (e.g., poor schedule performance, product and producibility issues) to ensure contractual compliance.

  • Communicate across functions (e.g., procurement agents, suppliers, internal customers, field quality, engineering, manufacturing) to report status and concerns.

  • Co-facilitate with the supplier and procurement agent the development of a recovery plan and unplanned demand requirements.

  • Identify needs for training on business and manufacturing practices (e.g., requirements interpretation and clarification, contractual compliance, scheduling tools, technical skills, self-assessment) to supplier personnel for improvement or enhancement delivery performance.

  • Participate with the procurement agent in on-site supplier assessments (e.g., Preferred Supplier Certification, Proof of Process and Rate Readiness) to identify supplier capacity and capability to perform current and projected work statement and support Boeing procurement strategy.

  • Monitor suppliers' performance-to-plan to ensure compliance to contractual requirements and provide status back to supervisor and procurement agent.

  • Identify and communicate opportunities to implement new processes or improves existing processes and report back to management and make recommendation to procurement agent.

  • Assess supplier resource plan and reports results to supervisor/procurement agent.

  • Support supplier work movements to ensure seamless execution.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services

  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, programs, etc.)


Typical Education/Experience:

Experienced (Level 3): Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Senior (Level 4): Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range:

Experienced (Level 3): $94,350 - $127,650

Senior (Level 4): $109,650 - $148,350
