About the Position:

TJFACT is seeking to hire a Supply Technician to join our Team in Gulfport, MS.

The Supply Technician will perform aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• May serve as a Supply/Repair Parts Clerk or Facility Supply Technician. Supply personnel will plan, organize, and coordinate work with automated logistics systems according to priorities and established deadlines. Contractor personnel will utilize Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-A) and Army Reserve Standard Army Retail system databases to support data research, trend analysis, and reporting.

• Repair parts clerk required in various locations assisting with supply records using the logistic automated systems to record and account for government property using SAP application Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) and the manual process (DA PAM 710-2-1).

• Formal Education/Special Training: Shall have completed the Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 92A course conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army Quartermaster Center and School. MOS course completion may be substituted with three years of verifiable on-the-job training or formal education at accredited institution training the required tasks needed for keeping detailed records tracking of supplies bought, sold and distributed in order to maintain quality control, address budget concerns and provide information relevant to future supplier-related decisions.
• Analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.
• Responsible for identifying, notifying, and presenting proper supply documentation (per DA PAM 710-2-1) to the appropriate personnel prior to submitting requisition repair parts (Class IX).
• Tasks shall include research of applicable technical manuals and parts manuals for correct National Stock Number (NSN), recoverability, and applicability for the services tasked and performed.
• Shall assure that all repair parts required for service or repairs are on a valid Class IX request prior to finalizing each vehicle/equipment service.
• Shall ensure that all recoverable unserviceable parts are clean and drained prior to turn-in to the nearest supporting Supply Support Activity (SSA).
• Shall ensure recoverable parts are turned-in within the required Installation and SSA time frames to minimize the quantities of unmatched recoverable items in STAMIS.
• Maintain, control and edit GCSS-A in support of Army Reserve installation inventories of government equipment.
• Installation accountability, lateral transfers, equipment turn in, equipment disposition, annual inventory, signed hand receipt upon completion of joint inventory with Army Reserve facility Hand Receipt Holder, and providing supply management guidance to support non property book installation property such as furniture.

Required Skills and Experience:

• U.S. Citizen.
• Possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License

• Ability to able to obtain a Government vehicle license to transport parts to and from supply agencies.

• Ability to regularly lift 40-50 lbs.
• Must be proficient with logistic automated systems to record and account for government property using Global Combat System Supply-Army (GCSS-Army) and the manual process (DA PAM 710-2-1).
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with a wide range of players.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Familiarity with equipment maintenance and processes.
