Nutrition Assistant and Hall Aide Positions Available

Serve as a valued member of the team and provide essential support and superior customer service to our patients and their families. Maintain a culture of compassion, caring and safety to help ensure a positive experience for every patient, every time.

At NewYork-Presbyterian, Nutrition Assistants deliver warm smiles, friendly conversations and healthy meals that soothe the soul. The relationships they build with patients cultivate good health, healing and comfort while ensuring a welcoming environment day after day.

The Hall Aide will maintain assigned areas of the Hospital in a sanitary, orderly and attractive manner in accordance with established policies and procedures, using simple, repetitive tasks. This position is supervised by the Director, Senior Supervisor and Supervisors of the Building Services Department. Hall Aides attend monthly staff meetings, numerous in-service meetings, annual safety meetings, annual performance appraisal interview and numerous informal one-to-one meetings as necessary. This position works in contact with employees, patients visitors.

We have both Full Time positions for our Hall Aide and Nutrition Assistant (9a-5p with weekends included) We also have PT positions open for Nutrition Assistant (6:15-10:15 with weekends included)

How will the event work? All interviews will be completed through live video. Come prepared to tell us about yourself, and speak personally with leadership from some of our Support Services at NYP. You will also meet with a representative from our Talent Acquisition team. This is your chance to make a lasting impression on our hiring team.

Who is invited to this event? Qualified candidates will have extensive customer services experience or experience in hotel, restaurant or retail industry. A high school diploma or GED is required for our Nutrition Assistant role and preferred but not required for our Hall Aide Position .
