Full Time Surgical Technician / Surgery Technologist / Surgical Tech

We have a full-time Surgical Technician opportunity available for an experienced professional in a surgical support role (technician, sterile processing technician, surgery technologist) Are you looking to work side by side with surgeons within a large-scale ophthalmic practice? This is a TEAM role that will need your patience, high levels of communication and integrity

Our Ambulatory Surgery Center teams work provide top rated procedures with patience, positivity, and productivity.

A successful candidate for SURGICAL TECHNICIAN has the following:

• A high school diploma, (some college is excellent!)
• A committed work history that shows longevity and growth
• Operating room experience required.
• Two (2) years of hospital main operating room experience desired.
• Current BLS required.
• Demonstrated skill in appropriate use of instruments and equipment.
• Demonstrates ability to create and maintain a sterile field.
• Familiarly with computer software and the ability to learn new systems quickly (Electronic health record experience preferred)
• Proven work history of EXCELLENT ATTENDANCE, including professional references and completion of a background check.
• The ability to work at different work locations during the day on occasion- clean DMV and/or transportation required.
• The ability to obtain sufficient reference report on your skills and a sufficient background check
• An interest in self education and career growth. This is not a job; it is a healthcare career.
