General Position Summary:

The IT systems administrator is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and security of the company intranets and computer systems. Duties include assigning and maintaining user access, installing and maintaining software, responding to employee concerns relating to IT, troubleshooting IT issues, and writing policy documents and training materials for employees. Manages servers, network equipment, and other related IT infrastructure. Coordinates with company leadership to determine new technologies and enhancements for company’s systems.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities ARE BUT NOT Limited TO:

1. Sets up and maintains user access for all employees.
2. Implements & manages user and network security.
3. Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls.
4. Builds and modifies custom reports within multiple platforms.
5. Researches, recommends, and purchases new hardware and software.
6. Evaluates existing software applications & performs routine updates/modifications.
7. Installs and maintains new software & hardware ensuring licensing laws are followed.
8. Manages and maintains file server’s software and hardware.
9. Writes documents for user-training and support.
10. Manages secure network access for remote users.
11. Audits network security and compliance requirements.
12. Performs other duties as required.

JOB Specific Skills:

1. Knowledge of ERP software setup and maintenance to support company and employee needs.
2. Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management
3. Knowledge of system security including intrusion detection systems and data backup/recovery.
4. Knowledge of Office suit including Access and Excel for Data Tables & Relationships.
5. Advanced Knowledge with Visual Basic for Applications [VBA] and SQL.
6. Working knowledge of Crystal Reports to build and modify ERP reports.
7. Knowledge of API usage within Access via VBA & interaction with the Windows Environment.
8. Ability to support finance, retail operations, and golf operations with NetSuite, Revel Systems point-of-sale, and foreUP.
9. Capable of producing comprehensive architectural diagrams.
10. Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
11. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and Teamwork.
12. Manufacturing experience is preferred.

Education / Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network engineer or a related discipline
2. Professional certification such as MCSA, AWS Solutions Architect, or equivalent certification is preferred
3. 3 – 5 years of work experience working with Microsoft server, systems, and software environment required
4. Skill to effectively analyze and solve problems, software installation and maintenance
5. Ability to work independently as well as with a team, to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees & customers
6. Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
